Returns and refunds

In accordance with Legislative Decree No. 206 of September 6, 2005, regarding consumer rights, it is possible to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the goods, upon prior communication via email to Studiodanza (info@studiodanza.com). However, the customer will have to pay the direct costs of returning the goods to the sender if, at the time of exercising the right of withdrawal, the delivery of the goods has already taken place.

The 14-day 'cooling-off period' does not apply to all purchases. The Consumer Code, in Article 59, stipulates that there are certain types of distance purchases for which the right of withdrawal is excluded. Among the exceptions are the supply of personalized or custom-made goods.

Furthermore, pursuant to art. 5 of Legislative Decree 185/1999, the right of withdrawal applies only if the customer is a consumer, that is, a natural person who purchases goods for purposes not related to their professional activity, or does not make the purchase using a VAT number.

Return Policy for In-Stock Products

We will accept the return of products within 14 days from the date of receipt of the order by the customer provided that the following conditions are met:

  1. The products must be returned in their original packaging, in perfect condition, unused, with all their elements and protected.
  2. We will only accept returns that have been previously requested in writing via email at: info@studiodanza.com and authorized by Studiodanza. When authorizing the return, we will provide the shipping address.
  3. The returned material must be received at our facilities within 10 days after the return authorization. Otherwise, the return will be rejected.
  4. The refund of the order amount will be processed once the material has been received, verified, and matches the requirements stated by the customer in their return request. The shipping costs will not be refunded, and the refund will be limited to the amount of the material.
  5. The customer will bear the shipping costs of the products from their home to the Studiodanza facilities.
  6. In case of product exchange, the customer will bear the shipping costs in both directions.

Return Policy for customized, made-to-order products

NO RETURNS ACCEPTED FOR CUSTOMIZED PRODUCTS, MANUFACTURED WITH COLORS AND SIZES OF THE CUSTOMER'S CHOICE.

On the pages of each product shown on our website, it is indicated whether it is available in stock or if it needs to be made to order. It is also indicated whether returns or exchanges are allowed.

Return Policy for Defective Products

Studiodanza s.r.l. will accept the return of products within the first 7 days from the date of receipt of the order by the customer, provided that the following conditions are met:

  1. Only returns previously requested via email at: info@studiodanza.com and authorized by Studiodanza will be accepted. By authorizing the return, we will provide the shipping address.
  2. The returned material must be received at our facilities within 10 days after the return authorization. Otherwise, the return will be rejected.
  3. The refund of the sale amount will be processed once the material is received and it is verified that the defect matches the requirements stated by the customer in the return request.
  4. In case of product replacement due to a detected defect, Studiodanza s.r.l. will cover the shipping costs in both directions, provided that the replacement product is the same model or similar.
  5. In the event that the product defect is found not to be such, the material will be returned to the customer with the appropriate shipping costs.

Refunds

When we receive your items, the refund is processed immediately. The refund process depends on the payment method used:

  • If you paid with a credit or debit card, the refund is sent to the card-issuing company within five business days of receiving the returned item or cancellation request. To find out when the credit will be posted to your account, contact the card-issuing company or your bank.
  • If you paid with your PayPal account, the refund will be sent to your PayPal account within five business days of receiving the returned item or the cancellation request. The credit will be available in your PayPal account immediately.
  • If you paid by bank transfer, the refund is sent to your bank within five working days from the receipt of the returned item or the order cancellation request. You need to communicate your bank details in advance via email to Studiodanza (info@studiodanza.com). Usually, the refund will be credited to your bank account within 24/48 hours.
